Now and then12/31/2022 ![]() ![]() Now then points the switchblade to his chest as he, like he did earlier, pulls up his skin to also reveal a large stitch mark. Now finishes dissecting Then's chest, revealing lots of items and resources inside. ![]() The text is shown this way to have it look like its meant for only Now to read. Now looks at the message, and responds with, "Yeah, I know". While doing so, some blood squirts on Now's forehead, before the words, PACK LIGHT, appear backwards and in front of him. Now then takes out a switch-blade and cuts open the stitch mark on Then's chest. Now then pulls up the skin on Then's chest to reveal a giant stitch mark. The character is presumed to and is most likely to be called, Then. Now turns around and says out loud, "Hello, Then", before it then walks up to a dead white figure completely laying on the ground. The character's name or symbolism is revealed to be called NOW. The background then morphs away and the figure is abruptly out of its trance, now inside of an empty yellow void. It starts with a white figure in a complete trance behind a trippy custom spiral background, almost like it's being hypnotized or having an existential thought. The animation consists of a white figure named Now walking up to another dead white figure dubbed Then, and dissecting its body parts. Be it the girls and their relationship, or those kitschy bike-riding sequences, but Now and Then leaves you wanting to phone your own childhood companions in night games and sidewalk chalk to reminisce on your "then.Jack Stauber "now and then" is a cel-animated cartoon created and uploaded by Jack Stauber on December 31st, 2019, and few hours before New Years' Day and the start of the year 2020. It's like Now and Then envisions the sunniest version of what friendships from girlhood could look like - supportive then and years on - and playing their present-day camaraderie against a youthful, halcyon summer gives the depiction an even brighter feeling. As the grown-up Sam (aka Demi Moore) drives to her hometown for the first time in years, she narrates via voiceover, "Thomas Wolfe once said, 'You can't go home again.' Well, that's great for old Tom, but he wasn't a chick who made a pact with her friends when she was 12 to get together whenever any one of them needed each other." Although the adult timeline admittedly pops up awkwardly through the movie, the scenes speak to the staying power of female friendship. Similar to how Stand By Me ends, Now and Then opens with a line about how important the friends you have growing up are to you then, and long after. Despite the movie's autumn release date, here's why the sugary heaping of nostalgia about four friends reuniting in adulthood to reflect on that fateful summer when they set out to build a treehouse and investigate why a boy their age had died in the past is a summertime classic. Now and Then - which celebrates its 25th anniversary on October 20 and is available to stream on HBO Max - is also The Perfect Summer Movie. ![]() Marlene King (who later developed the show Pretty Little Liars) and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter (who'd go on to helm episodes of Freaks and Geeks and Homeland), has rightfully achieved cult-classic status as a sacred text on female friendship. NOW AND THEN MOVIESet largely in the summer of 1970 and focusing on four 12-year-old girls investigating the death of a boy who died in their small Indiana town in 1945, the movie was largely panned upon its release, with many prominent critics of the day (including Roger Ebert and The New York Times' Caryn James) deeming it little more than an all-girls version of Stand by Me.īut despite the simlarities and negative reviews, Now and Then, written by I. NOW AND THEN SERIESNot surprisingly, Stand by Me also likely inspired the release of a handful of subsequent narratives about adolescent friendships gone by, from 1993's The Sandlot to TV series like The Wonder Years. But the Rob Reiner film still overshadows the movie that most closely resembles it, 1995's Now and Then. Jesus, does anyone?" And because, well, no, not really, the movie, adapted from a Stephen King story, has gone down as one of the best coming-of-age films of all time, and is still a summertime favorite today. After reflecting on a summer adventure that he took with his childhood friends decades ago, the narrator of Stand by Me famously ends the 1986 drama by saying, "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12. ![]()

Number shape collage12/31/2022 ![]() I will freely admit that I am not generally into horror games overall, and those who are will almost certainly enjoy these sections more than I did, but that’s sort of the problem these bits are so unlike the rest of Outer Wilds that they almost feel like an entirely different game – one that’s fun but far less unique, and pretty much just had me wishing I was playing more of its usual style instead. Outer Wilds has always had some creepier sections and the looming threat of death, but this tangible mechanical shift (while well implemented) isn’t one I was expecting, and ultimately wasn’t something I was too interested in compared to my previous planet hopping. #NUMBER SHAPE COLLAGE HOW TO#I’m talking a “stumbling around in the dark trying to figure out how to progress while monsters hunt you” kind of horror game – and it sure does play that metaphorical screeching violin well. ![]() Avoiding spoilers as much as possible, this new area is essentially split in two: one half is much closer to the physics-bending, awe-inspiring planet exploration of the original game, while the other occasionally warps Outer Wilds into a proper horror game. The focus on light is also a clever choice because it ties perfectly into Echoes of the Eye’s spookier vibe, often forcing you to wander through the dark and occasionally making light a luxury you desperately wish you could afford. If you have many photos that you want to. Creating one-of-a-kind collages with ShapeX is fun and fast, and youre provided with a number of tools to enhance your photographs. The easiest way to create your number collage is to roughly work out in advance how many photos you want to use for it. It’s a neat little twist that sets how you navigate this area apart from the others, but it also maintains that same sense of wonder as things change in surprising ways at set times during each loop. ShapeX - a quick and unique Shape Collage Maker. That includes the rafts you’ll be riding between locations, which have orbs you can shine your flashlight on to float in a specific direction, as well as locked doors that open when illuminated. The bulk of this side adventure is basically a haunted river-rafting trip (which absolutely rules), with many of its puzzles and new mechanics built around using light. ![]() This setup does mean that Echoes of the Eye won’t have you bouncing around the solar system trying to piece together distant clues, which does make its discoveries a little more straightforward to unravel, but there are still plenty of intertwining secrets to find in this area alone. ![]() A new exhibit in the museum on Timber Hearth will point you toward a nearby research station monitoring a photo-taking satellite, and following that simple but exciting lead will eventually land you in a brand-new area with just as much to do as any of the base game’s planets. Though it can be confounding at times when events don’t unfold in precisely the right way, the feeling of discovering something new about the story, or following a couple of facts to something totally unexpected on a faraway planet far outweighs those hiccups." - Mike Epstein, Score: 8.4Įchoes of the Eye cleverly integrates its new mysteries by pretending they’ve been there all along, hiding in the shadows. Its very specific brand of active storytelling differs wildly from highly guided open-worlds that many of us think of when we talk about non-linear gameplay. #NUMBER SHAPE COLLAGE MAC#Mac Gems newsletter for a weekly e-mail summary of Gems reviews sent directly to your inbox."Outer Wilds’ tricky exploration and puzzle solving is definitely an acquired taste. To compensate, set a higher number of photos to duplicate images when needed. While I had plenty of vacation photos to make a “Europe” text collage easily comprehensible, a custom “leaf” shape I drew using all 38 of my fall colors pics looked like an elongated blob. Once you have a layout you like, click Create to generate the final image as a PNG, JPEG, or even Photoshop (PSD) file for further editing (major brownie points here for the developer).įor traditional collages, the rectangle shape and a handful of photos works best (I like the clean look of selecting None for Rotation under the Advanced tab), but for custom shapes and text creations, you may need more images than you think to give the shape better definition. Then click the Preview button to view a randomly generated wire frame of the layout. You can also alter the size, number of photos used, photo spacing, background image, photo border, photo rotation, and shadows. To select images, simply drag and drop photos from the Finder or iPhoto (including Events) into the interface, or have Shape Collage pull images from your Facebook, Flickr, or other Web page. ![]()

Rv connected battery wrong blew the battery isolator relay plus#(However, if there is a battery at each end of the line you should have a fuse at each battery.) This principal has applied over the 50 plus years I have been dealing with electrics. The one fuse shouild be close to the voltage source, ie the battery. Having two fuses in the one circuit that connects a battery with a load is pure stupidity. The underlying principle of good circuit design is to keep the number of fuses to a minimum. ![]() That is in the tug and should be charged by the alternator when the DC-DC charger is operating. In this case the battery is in the tug" I was referring to the battery supplying the power to the charger. When I said "I would only put a fuse near the battery supplying the load. Edited by oldtrack123 on Friday 31st of August 2018 04:24:28 PM Just make sure ,that at no point ,are supply cables rated lower than the fuse Now add the arcing across the contacts each time it trips and resets increasing the resistance and the once rated 50 amp circuit breaker drops to 30 amps or less after 15 mins and useless for the job.Ī 60 amp midi fuse and holder will minimise the poor connection heat generated by many fuse/holder types and have enough overhead capacity to prevent nuisance failures, yet well within the safety limits of the cable it is designed to protect. That is the current required at the supply end on a continuous basis, a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker isn't going to meet that requirement, even a 50 amp fuse is getting close to its limit and a 50 amp circuit breaker of the type often used by installers for DC circuits most certainly won't handle the heat generated through the bi-metal strip on a long term basis. If the unit will function at a voltage as low as 9v say, then 400w divided by 9v = approx. Add 10% for conversion losses within the equipment and the requirement on the input side is up around 400W. If the DC to DC charger can produce 25 amps 14.4v the output is 360w. It seems many installers have forgotten ohms law when it comes to cable size requirement and fuse rating. 6 B&S cable can handle a 100 amp load without melting or catching on fire so what is the logic in fitting a 30 amp fuse? A fuse is only there to protect the cable run, not the appliance, if the appliance has a fire risk in the case of a short circuit it has its own internal fuses rated to protect against that problem so adding an under rated fuse/circuit breaker in the supply end of the cable is just dumb. The most common problem we have when it comes to DC to DC chargers is the installer using an under rated fuse or poor fuse/holder design or using a circuit breaker rather than a fuse. This is basically a repeat of what has already been posted but for some reason this post got stuck in the pipeline when I shut my computer down yesterday afternoon. To put it simply, rip off unqualified installer. I spoke to tech support as above and that was their instruction. The manufacturer clearly states that the 50amp circuit breaker must be in the van in the ignition feed cable. The one in the tug should be rated at 50 A. I would be inclined to remove the one in the van. Every fuse you have in line increases the voltage drop a smidgen. The only fuse that is necessary is the one that will blow if there is a fault in the supply cable. Thay do not make readily available fuses that act that quickly. A fuse at the input to the charger will not protect the charger. I would only put a fuse near the battery supplying the load. ![]() Car wiring checked by Autospark and all good. Most videos use codecs which perform temporal compression, so a specified cutpoint may rely on frames before (and after) that cutpoint to be correctly decoded.
